My name is Abigail Fletcher and I am a student-athlete and a Fashion Merchandising major at Kent State University

As a fashion merchandising major and a student athlete, I hope to combine my skills and work in the Athletic Apparel sector of the industry, specifically working with Product Management. I am passionate about creating a more sustainable product in the fashion industry, so I hope my career can involve this as well.

EXPERIENCES

Student-Athlete

2017-Present

I am a student-athlete, specifically I am on the gymnastics team at Kent State University. I was named captain of my team for the 2019-2020 season, and I am an student ambassador for the team.

College Fashionista Member

2019-Present

I am a member of the College Fashionista group which is a member of the Her Campus group. It is a digital community of college-aged fashion and beauty lovers who share their personal insights to help their career in a fashion-related field in the future.

Gymnastics Coach

2015-2017

I have been a gymnastics coach at ENA Paramus in New Jersey, where I trained my entire life. I taught ages 3-15 the basics of gymnastics and created lesson plans that would benefit all the students at different levels.

Pink Meet Committee Member

2017-Present

Every year the Kent State gymnastics team hosts an annual Pink Meet to help support a breast cancer awareness. We raise money for COSA, which is an Ohio based organization that helps women with breast cancer. I have been on the committee of gymnasts that helps run the competition for three years.
